Thermal Protection
• Exterior walls are 6” batt insulation with Certainteed vapor barrier

Sound Insulation
• Common party wall is a 2-hour fire rated double stud partition. Wall system consists of separate  2 x 4 light gauge steel partitions with 3” acoustical insulation in each wall and two sheets of 1/2” drywall between the separate 2 x 4 walls
• Between floors:
• Top floor has 3” concrete slab
• Bottom floor ceiling has 1/2” drywall
Between homes and corridor:
• 3” fiberglass insulation within stud walls adjoining corridor and 5/8" drywall on corridor side and 1/2” drywall on unit side
